How to Buy Tickets:
Santa Barbara International Film Festival is largely a pass based festival, the best way to take advantage of the festival is to purchase one of our passes. Please go to http://sbiff.org/product-category/2016-sbiff-passes/ to see the full list of available passes and packages. Passes grant priority access to different types of festival events such as film screenings, tributes, panels, and parties. If you are only interested in film screenings we also offer MiniPaks, which are punch cards that grant access to any film screening IF there is space after we have seated all of the passholders. The MiniPaks are available in groups of 4 or 10 films. They can be shared and transferred. Whether you need a Pass or MiniPak depends on the types of events in which you’re interested and amount of festival access you’d like. You are also able to purchase individual tickets to specific events such as panels and tributes. This page will be updated as we continue to add events to our schedule.

The only other option to get into a particular screening, without purchasing a Pass or MiniPak would be by buying a "Rush" ticket. That means that they would have to stand outside of the theater in line for the screening and wait until everyone is seated. Once all pass, ticket, and MiniPak holders are seated we will sell tickets for however many seats are left in the theater for $15 each.
